So I’ve had this brown box in my room since the 20th of December. It was from my secret santa. It felt a little heavy so I wasn’t sure what was in it. I decided to wait till xmas day to open it. So I kept it next to my bed and every night I would pat it. So the day of christmas morning came. I woken up at 8am after 3hrs sleep to the sounds of clanging and my parents talking. They were preparing for christmas lunch. We were having duck instead of turkey and it was all right. So after lunch I realised I could finally open the box. After the initial wrapping I opened the box and there was styrofoam. The box had said fragile so I wondered what was inside. Maybe some glass wear or one of those glass trophies saying “Best at <insert achievement>.” After I removed the one of the parts I there was more packaging. It was a used envelope and it said Lily. I know my secret santa has kids so I wasn’t sure what was inside. As I held it in it’s used envelope wrapping I realised it was a little heavy still. It wasn’t the shape of a trophy or box shape so it couldn’t have housed glass wear.
I began to worry. WHAT IF IT’S COAL? He’s is of the internet and he has a sense of humour. Would he give me coal for christmas. AM I A BAD CHILD? I began opening the envelope revealing more wrapping. It got a lot smaller but as I unravelled the last piece of wrapping there I found a pot! Also some little plastic insects and lizards and frogs. I began to play with them for a bit until I was called downstairs.
It now holds some important items and my plastic figures. I think I’ll grow something in the pot when I decide what I want to grow. Oh! I also got some bells on string. I’ve tied them around a cupboard door handle so I know when the underpants gnomes come at night and I can catch them before they steal my underpants.
So a friend of mine sent me a sekrit santa gift from Canada. It took well over a month to arrive but I finally got it. I’m ecstatic about the gift I recieved. It’s filled with tons of goodies.
Yes Luke those are sour patch kids. I feel your envy already.
