What has been your worst injury?

Personally it’s between pulling back muscles some how and not really being able to move properly for weeks or the time I was cut on the train. Either way I’ve never had a big problem where I had to go to the hospital.

Film - Dreams Of a Life

This film completely passed me by. It didn’t help that December felt like a blur. It looks pretty interesting British documentary. Well put together story telling documentary that is about an incredible bad subject.

Film - Acts of Godfrey

Set to be released this year. The film looks like a quirky mystery film where the dialog is completely composed in rhyme. Some well known (within the UK atleast) comedy actors in this film. It looks like some good dark humour and definitely perked my interests.

Film: Please Vote for Me
Summery: The film follows a class of young chinese students from Wuhan. They prepare their first venture into democracy by voting for their class monitor. 3 candidates are picked and they show different personalities when canvasing for votes begins. The film also shows how the parents interactions and teaching styles. The kids include the manipulative and charming Cheng Cheng, the strong willed brute Luo Lei and the sweet but meek Xiaofei.
Thoughts: It’s pretty interesting documentary. After watching the documentary it doesn’t really invigorate my hope in democracy. They certainly got the use of words as weapons in politics. It pretty much felt like a prototype of democracy built upon the bad sides of campaigning. At least they didn’t make wild promises they couldn’t keep. I’m still not convinced documentaries should film kids. Mistakes and painful memories are committed to film forever.

Well, I think it’s funny.

Hey Luke!

Ingrediants:

2 Parsnips

4 carrots

several small potatoes

a bunch of chives

panchetta

stewing beef

vegetable stock

A diced white onion

Half a bottle of wine

So I decided to make beef stew which I didn’t actually eat any of. I made too much juk for my grandma and the stew at the time needed some time to reduce. So I ended eating that instead. I made the stew after trying to remember how I made it with my friend. We had port wine at that time and we didn’t boil off the alcohol enough so I was weary with the amount of wine I used. I chose this wine because it said fruity and it was £3.99. It was this or a wine from California my gut instinct told me to get the Chilean wine. I tasted it after it finished reducing and it it truly delicious. The flavour is a little complex as it’s very strong in flavour. It’s sweet and earthy but there’s an odd creamy cleansing taste/feeling. I think I read/heard somewhere that stew always tastes better the day after.
